Profile Overview:
The Territory Manager plays a pivotal role in the company’s growth by overseeing the sales activities within the assigned region. They will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with distributors, value-added partners, pharmacies, and medical professionals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
▪ Relationship Building: Regularly meet with potential distributors, value-added partners, pharmacies, and medical professionals (doctors) to establish and nurture productive relationships
▪ Competitor Analysis: Observe and analyze competitor strategies within the assigned region to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for the company.
▪ Reporting: Provide detailed reports to the Sales Head on market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance within the territory.
▪ Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales and business development strategies tailored to the assigned territory. Outline efficient sales strategies to achieve targets.
▪ Client Solutions: Respond promptly to regional client needs by offering solutions from the company’s product portfolio and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
▪ KPI Monitoring: Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and business development, making adjustments as necessary to meet or exceed targets.
▪ Market Trends Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
▪ Marketing strategies: Ability to develop marketing programmes and run promotional activity along with distributors and doctors.
Job Requirements:
▪ Any Graduate with Science Background.
▪ Minimum 3 Years experience in Healthcare / Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices Industry.
▪ Work experience with meeting the following Healthcare speciality Doctors: Gynaecologists, General / Gastro & Bariatric Surgeons, Top General Physicians, Leading MBBS Doctors, Ayush Doctors ( Siddha / Ayurveda / Unani & Homeopathy ) .
▪ Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
▪ Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex information.
▪ Strong collaborative and time-management skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
▪ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a sales-oriented mindset.
▪ Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
▪ Strong time management skills to ensure the efficient allocation of resources and achievement of sales objectives.
